BDRCK, redesigned

The whole app has a new look, taken from this site: a dark ground, smoked glass panels and the colours of a dusk sky. Home and the verdict page sit under a slow band of colour, and the result block carries a ring that takes the colour of the verdict.
Everything is where it was. The numbers, the map and the model work the same, and the report you print or download stays on white paper.

Discover, reworked

Discover now gives the map most of the screen. One toolbar holds search, filters, layers and the list, and every panel closes when you are done with it.
Suburb search stays inside Brisbane, and the planning, hazard and services overlays from the verdict page are now on the Discover map as well.

Nearby Precedent
The verdict page has a new section: What has council allowed nearby? It lists the subdivisions registered around a lot and the applications council has decided, so you can see what has been done before you make an offer.
Each precedent is compared with today’s rule, for example 383 m² lots in a 400 m² zone. It shows evidence only. It does not say an approval is likely.

Discover: a map of lots that can be subdivided

Discover is a map of Brisbane that shows which lots can be subdivided. Choose how many lots you need and BDRCK tests every lot in view against its own zone’s rule, then marks it Likely, Possible or Unlikely.
Open any lot to go straight to its verdict page.

Nineteen map layers and the constraints that matter
The verdict map now carries nineteen layers in four groups: Planning, Hazards, Services and Context. Each loads when you switch it on and has its own legend and credit.
The site facts go deeper too. BDRCK now reads true frontage and depth, flood levels, one-metre slope and the pipes on or beside the lot, and tells you when one of them is a material constraint.

A new look, and a profile that shapes the numbers
BDRCK has a new design and a new home at app.bdrck.com.au. The pages are cleaner, the map leads the verdict page, and the model sits beside it as sliders.
There is also a Profile. Tell BDRCK what you develop and the margin you work to, and every verdict is read against your target.
